Talent Acquisition Specialist

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
As a talent specialist you will assist in the proper staffing of the organization as well as implementing KFC’s culture. To do this, you will work closely with the operation team and members of management to identify job openings. You will also participate in the interview process and assist new hires with completing paperwork and required documentation.
JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations.
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience.
- Maintain an efficient electronic learning management systems to retain all employees and assist all hiring managers in development assessment processes.
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews.
- Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory,and contributes to the development of policies.
- Organizing and Managing various Reward & Recognition programs.
- Ensure proper onboarding for new hires and the necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
- Develop mentoring and coaching sessions for employees.
- Discuss career-pathing options with high-potential employees.
- Boost employee morale by implementing performance-based bonuses.
- Create organizational charts and define each position’s responsibilities.
- Calculate employee engagement metrics, like retention, turnover rates, and cost of label.
- Provide team members with direction for leadership and development initiatives.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED
- Proven experience with the talent acquisition process including sourcing, candidate identification and recruitment.
- University Degree in related field (HR/ Communication/ Administration)
- Strong project management skills and detail orientated.
- Good organizational skills, ability to communicate and influence the organization.
- Familiarity with People Analytics, Employee Engagement or People Success Platforms.
- Business fluent in English and French.
